Lucky Dog Walking and Boarding is seeking Friendly Dog Walkers that can work Part-time or Full- time.
- Dog walkers work around 4-8 hours daily in the same neighborhoods. Walkers usually walk the same dogs daily, forming a bond with each dog and owner.
- Dog walkers generally work one of three shifts: (7AM-12PM), (12PM-5PM), (5PM-10PM)
- Dog boarding is optional and means you will be taking care of a dog in your own home. Great way to make extra cash!
Requirements include:
- Must have experience working with dogs or animals.
- Must have a form of reliable transportation (Car, bicycle, motorcycle, skateboard etc.)
- Must own an iPhone or Android device in order to use APP.
- Able to make a 6-month commitment.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes.
- Patience with behavioral issues and dogs of all kinds.
- Excellent communication skills. (Written and Verbal)
- Must be physically fit in order to lift dogs 50 lbs, kneel, stand for long periods of time and perform requirements of the job.
- Ability to work in ALL types of weather (Rain, Snow, Hot days)
Brooklyn routes are in these neighborhoods: DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Fort Greene, Prospect Park, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy.
