- Provide direct support and assistance to clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Assist clients with mobility
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and prevent isolation.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to create personalized care plans.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s quality of life.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong skills in patient monitoring and basic healthcare practices.
- Ability to perform cooking tasks for meal preparation tailored to client needs.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures; certification is a plus.
