We are seeking a dedicated Retail Manager to oversee our retail store, which provides chemicals and supplies to local pool owners. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service, is familiar with pool chemistry and water testing, and is seeking to work in a fun and collaborative environment.
Retail Manager is expected to oversee all aspects of the retail store, which has hundreds of loyal customers who depend on our company to provide chemicals and solutions for their pools. Responsibilities may include overseeing daily operations, leading, training and developing Associates, fostering a positive environment, and making suggestions to improve our operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, sales, and customer service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed store goals.
- Train, motivate, and manage store staff to provide excellent customer service.- Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on sales performance and inventory levels.
- Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the swimming pool industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of swimming pools, hot tubs, and related products is required.
- Proficient in using retail management software and tools.
- Ability to work Saturdays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.50 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 50 per week
