Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekly Pool Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing 40-50 pools per week, ensuring they remain clean, chemically balanced, and in top condition.
Key Responsibilities
Pool Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Brush walls, steps, and tiles to remove debris and algae buildup.
- Vacuum and skim pools to maintain cleanliness.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets for proper water flow.
- Backwash and clean filters as needed.
Chemical Balancing:
- Test and adjust water chemistry to maintain ideal chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other chemical levels.
- Add necessary chemicals to ensure water safety and clarity.
Equipment Monitoring:
- Check pool pumps, filters, and other equipment for proper function.
- Report any issues or repairs needed to the supervisor.
Customer Service & Reporting:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns.
- Upload service notes and photos into the Jobber app after each visit.
- Communicate any necessary follow-ups or issues to the office.
Other Duties:
- Ensure company vehicle and equipment are properly maintained.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals and equipment.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and customer service mindset.
- Prior pool service experience is preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate!
