The Accounting Specialist will work closely with our internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions and bookkeeping of a golf course. - Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
- Verify and reconcile discrepancies in invoices.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor accounts and track payment schedules.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and documentation for invoice processing.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in accounts payable.
- Perform general accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and creating spreadsheets.
