General Description
Responsible for forecasting, researching, and budgeting for all Lucky Star properties. Tracks financial performance against budget and management plans. Assists in making recommendations for management and solving problems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manages centralized analyst team.
Work Schedule
- Requires morning, afternoon, and evenings. Some weekends and holidays maybe required.
- Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Manages and develops centralized analyst team.
· Responsible for the annual budgeting process, which includes forecasting and partnering with management to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and future planning.
· Implement best practices in FP&A and reporting; implements latest technology.
· Create and monitor KPI reporting. Perform scenario and ROI analysis.
· Develop commentary and suggestions on analysis and reports.
· Travel required to all locations.
- Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Job Requirements
- Sit and/or stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
- Move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
- Office environment with some casino floor environment.
Qualification Standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting or related experience.
- Ability to work at both detailed analytical level and at summary level for projects and assignments with speed and accuracy.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
- Must be able to qualify and maintain a Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and software proficiency that includes Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as software needed for position.
