Summary: The primary role of the LMS System Administrator is to manage and maintain our Schoox Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure effective training delivery across the organization. This role works closely with the Training team, IT, HR, and key stakeholders to enhance system functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and support end-users. The approximate pay rate for this position is $66,000-74,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
System Administration & Support
- Oversee daily operations of the Schoox LMS including configuration, course uploads, and user management.
- Serve as the primary contact for LMS-related inquiries, offering technical support and resolving issues.
- Manage system access, roles, and permissions to ensure data integrity and appropriate user access.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to implement system updates, integrations, and new feature rollouts.
- Assist with testing and deployment of LMS enhancements.
- Monitor and analyze LMS usage; create dashboards and reports to measure training completion and compliance.
- Ensure the LMS meets organizational policy, data privacy, and industry compliance standards.
- Support regulatory and compliance-based training assignments and tracking.
- Maintain up-to-date LMS documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and internal reference materials.
- Support the Training Department in structuring learning paths and onboarding experiences.
- Work with department stakeholders to ensure LMS aligns with company learning goals and reporting needs.
- Strong background in LMS administration (preferably Schoox or similar platforms)
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools; basic knowledge of APIs or LMS integrations is a plus
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with IT, HR, and business leaders
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience administering an LMS platform
- Experience in user management, LMS configuration, course uploads, and permissions setup
- Proven ability to create LMS reports and track training metrics
- Experience supporting end-users and troubleshooting technical LMS issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems , Training & Development, HR, or a related field
- Prior experience with Schoox LMS or similar systems
- Exposure to e-learning content development tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
- Experience working in a hospitality, retail, or multi-unit business environment
