Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team. Compensation depending on experience will be $8-11/hour plus Tip Out. Team members should exceed the local hourly comparative range when receiving hourly and tip out. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with experience in food service, hospitality, and customer service. As a Bartender, you will create an inviting atmosphere for our guests while expertly mixing and serving drinks. Your ability to collaborate with other staff members and provide exceptional service will contribute to an unforgettable experience for our patrons. There will be opportunities to grow beyond bartending to lead and key holder roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other bartenders to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies as needed and conducting regular stock checks.
• Create a welcoming environment by maintaining a friendly demeanor and fostering positive interactions with customers.

Skills

• Proven experience in the food service or restaurant industry, preferably in a bartending role.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and beer selections is highly desirable.
• Experience in nightclub or catering environments is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated during independent tasks.
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential.

Pay: $8.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
