Your Impact
Strategic Leadership and Partnership
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to the Head of School, contributing to strategic planning and school-wide decision-making.
- Lead initiatives that align with Lucy School’s mission of fostering creativity, sustainability, and academic excellence.
- Help guide the AIMS accreditation process to maintain high institutional standards.
Curriculum Innovation
- Work with faculty to document, refine, and alignment of curricula across preschool, elementary, and middle school, ensuring seamless, developmentally appropriate learning from Preschool through 8th Grade
- Promote student-centered, interdisciplinary experiential learning approaches.
- Oversee progress reports to ensure meaningful feedback and student growth tracking.
Professional Development and Teacher Support
- Inspire and mentor educators through innovative professional development programs
- Support teachers and families, fostering collaboration and instructional excellence through committee leadership.
- Guide teacher committees to promote team-driven decision-making and curriculum enhancements.
Operational Excellence
- Coordinate and manage class and staff schedules to optimize learning environments and smooth daily operations.
- Oversee substitute scheduling to ensure effective classroom coverage.
- Oversee Title II and IV grants and manage the classroom materials budget to support effective teaching and learning.
- Ensure compliance with MSDE policies for non-public schools, including staffing, training, credentials, and student support services.
- Support students with student support processes, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Oversee compliance in key areas, including nutrition/snack programs and licensing requirements.
