We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. This multifaceted role involves managing critical operational functions, including vendor relations, inventory management, purchase orders, and warehouse processes. The successful candidate will not only streamline operations but also ensure the efficiency of both inventory control and warehouse workflows.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Relations & Purchase Orders:
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries. Act as the main point of contact for vendor communication.
- Manage the creation, processing, and follow-up of purchase orders, collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to guarantee accurate and on-time fulfillment.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels to meet customer demand, and to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor and adjust stock to avoid shortages or overstock situations, improving inventory turnover and efficiency.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track products, optimize stock levels, and predict future needs.
Warehouse Management & Process Optimization:
- Implement and continuously improve warehouse processes, including shipping/receiving, order processing, and inventory management.
- Lead, train, and provide guidance to warehouse staff (3-5 employees on average, possibly expanding up to 10 during peak season) to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prioritize and enforce safety standards, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and reduce operational costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Operations Management or Warehouse Management, including inventory management and vendor relations.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, purchase orders, and operational processes efficiently.
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Shipstation, or similar software required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Some knowledge of IT processes and system integration for operational improvements.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- May be required to assist other departments or other duties as necessary.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
