Overview
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate , experienced Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate must be x-Ray certified and proficient in:
* Taking impressions and pouring models
* All aspects of chair side assisting
* Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth workflow for the dentist.

Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic.
- Provide chairside assistance, including suctioning, retraction, and passing instruments as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures, demonstrating a solid understanding of dental terminology.
- Experience in a dental receptionist role is advantageous for managing patient interactions effectively.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus, enabling effective communication with younger patients.
- Knowledge of dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is preferred for efficient record management.
- Ability to take X-rays accurately while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail when recording vital signs and maintaining patient records.
