What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Ludlow Elementary School?
Ludlow Elementary School has an opening for a full year part-time Custodian.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Empty waste baskets, trash cans, extra;
- Clean all toilets & drain facilities; cleaning stoppages in toilets and urinals;
- Sweeping and vacuuming all classrooms and hallways;
- Washing windows, counters, furniture;
- Replacing soap and paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer)
- Completion of seasonal tasks such as painting, policing grounds for trash, snow removal;
- Set ups for meeting rooms, classrooms, gym and other curricular events;
- Ensure doors and windows are secure and lights are off at the end of custodial duties.
Must have basic mechanical and grounds-keeping abilities; be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be able to abide by safety regulations and medical precautions. Some tasks will be performed outdoors in extreme cold or heat.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.73 - $25.12 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
