POSITIONS: District TutorOn call for Home/Hospital TutoringGrade 2, all content areasQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree with major or minor in subject area preferredCertification with the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education preferredREPORTS TO: Director of Special EducationJOB GOAL: To tutor students in a variety of content areasPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Plans and administers the instructional program for home-bound or hospitalized students2.Adapts instructions and materials as necessary to meet students needs3.Assigns independent learning activities to students as appropriate4.Assesses student accomplishment on a regular basis5.Confers with staff as requested6.Other related dutiesSALARY: $20.00/HOURTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Up to 10 hours/week with 1 hour of prep time for every 5 hours of tutoringHours may varySchedule determined by student needPAPER APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
