POSITION: Short Term Substitute English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree, Masters preferredAppropriate Certification with the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education preferred and experience as an ESL Teacher. ESL certification preferredThis appointment is for the remainder of the 2024-2025 School YearRESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct ESL instruction to studentsParticipate in student meetings involving EL and FEL students, problem-solving for interventions as needed.Work with teachers and administrators to ensure equal access to programs for our students with limited English proficiency.Attend monthly ELL meetingsEnsure translation services are provided to studentsMaintain currency in State and Federal Guidance relative to English Language students.REPORTS TO: Director of Curriculum/PrincipalSALARY: Per the Districts Substitute Policy PAPER APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
