The team of Employee Owners at Lueken’s Village Foods is seeking an Experienced Assistant Produce Manager to oversee our South Bemidji location. If you have a positive high energy attitude and can think like an owner, you would be a great addition to our team.
Knowledge/Skills:
· Observes and follows the GREAT program
· Expert knowledge of the store layout and where items belong
· Clear and consistent communication understandable to a broad range of people in person and over the phone
· Advanced math for the purpose of buying, pricing, and tracking sales
· Advanced reading and computer skills for the purpose of entering items, creating batches, and ordering product
· Electronic jack, and riding jack training
· Forklift training
· Experience with the Company’s pricing and ordering system
· Practices safe and effective lifting as defined in the company lifting video
Physical Requirements:
· Able to lift produce items and stock, (50-70lbs)
· Able to lift below the knees and above the shoulders
· Able to twist and reach 50 times a day
· Able to push carts of products, 30-50 lbs force
· Frequent exposure to water, cold and moist conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
