Luella’s Catering is looking for catering attendants that are prepared to execute events with a great attitude and world-class service that represent the Luella’s brand and mission : to provide enrichment and lasting enjoyment to our team, guests, and community. This position is on an as needed basis / casual basis and exact hours cannot be guaranteed, however an average of 10-15 hours a week can be expected.
SUMMARY
The Catering Attendants will be fully trained in all of the responsibilities listed below. At Luella’s, we choose to orient our culture around hospitality to all people. The Catering Attendant is an important supportive role for someone who values the guest experience and is passionate about excellence in the hospitality industry. The Catering Attendant reports to and supports the Catering Captain and Catering Assistant in event execution, from beginning to end, with radiating enthusiasm and an eagerness to be the best! As a leader in the company you are responsible for maintaining the written cultural expectations of Luella’s and reinforcing this culture through example, and a personality of positive energy and fun every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains business appearance in an exemplary fashion
- Maintains a culture of constant ongoing training and continuous improvement
- Can execute catering deliveries as needed
- Plays an integral role in the overall growth of catering business
- Assists Captain in maintaining cleanliness and organization of off-site catering storage spaces and all catering equipment
- Assists with maintaining catering vehicle fleet in a like-new cleanliness and appearance and brings mechanical issues to the attention of the Catering Captain and Area Manager at the time they are discovered
- Ensure completed accuracy on all catering orders leaving the store
- Attendants must set up, prepare, maintain, and break down food buffets and beverage stations
- Attendants must set up (when applicable) and bus guest tables
- Attendants must assist with service of various types, to include passing hors d’oeuvres, refilling and maintaining food and beverage stations, serving food, and table-side beverage service (service needs vary by event)
- Attendants must assist with bussing and washing dishes
- Attendants are required to follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Attendants must communicate with Catering Captain and Catering Assistant throughout the event
