Senior Software Engineer
LufCo is hiring a Software Engineer to join a small team environment supporting the Army. This is a hybrid (remote and onsite) position, with 40% in-office support at our LufCo office located in Havre de Grace, MD.
The Software Engineer will work in a small, agile team to provide the development environment and improvements to a GPU based wideband spectrum analysis library for military and government RF sensing systems.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the following duties :
- Proficient or Mastery in some or all the following development technologies :
C / C / Java / Python / Shell Scripting
Google Protocol BuffersHTTP Rest APIsDockerRPMs or equivalentCUDA parallel computing platform and programming modelingFull Stack developmentCode deploymentDebug existing software and correct defectsProvide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standardsDesign and code new software or modify existing software to add new featuresDevelop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositoriesWrite or review software, system, and other technical documentationServe as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular projectDesign or implement complex database or data repository interfaces / queriesAssist with developing and executing test procedures for software componentsDevelop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areasEnsure functioning of real-time systems and business management information systemsIntegrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environmentsWhat You'll Need :
Eight (8) years experience as an Engineer or in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredBachelors Degree in a technical field, preferably Computer Science or Computer EngineeringU.S. Citizenship is required for this scope of workCurrent Security Clearance is preferred but not immediately requiredWhat We Offer :

Competitive Pay : Annual salary ranges from $125,000 to $180,000.
