The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for :
- Performing routine inspections of the facility and yard to identify maintenance needs.
- Inspecting and maintaining facility equipment, such as generators, pumps, and HVAC systems.
- Replacing light bulbs, filters, and other consumable items as needed
- Performing basic carpentry and painting tasks to maintain the facility's appearance.
- Performing regular lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery.
- Coordinating with external vendors for specialized equipment servicing.
- Managing the disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with local regulations.
- Ensuring proper labeling and containment of hazardous materials if applicable.
- Ensuring proper practice all safety standards and protocols while performing work.
- Monitoring and reporting any security concerns or unauthorized access to the premises.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Other duties as assigned
