What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planner position at Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC.?
Your tasks as Production Planner may include, among others :
- Monitor and Replenish stock levels of internally and externally processed material in order to meet customers' demands
- Create Repair Orders for outside processing and coordinate with vendors to ensure contractual turn times and pricing are met
- Confirm all material was repaired correctly per approved engineering documentation and all certifications follow QA guidelines
- Track and analyze vendor performance based on TAT, cost, and quality of work
- Calculate and analyze breakdown of Surplus material to determine which LRUs are needed for cost savings solutions
- Compile and review all necessary information to complete a cost advice to determine feasibility of repair of selected components
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
