As the Trade Compliance Officer, you will perform the following duties:
- Maintain/update/develop export compliance processes and policies for LTCS contingent on the latest regulations changes
- Review and determine contracts to include export compliance requirements
- Conduct audits at all locations of all export related documents and policies as well as AES EEI filings and other export documentation for potential compliance gaps/risks and to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct export compliance trainings throughout LTCS
- Review US export licenses to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Remain current on all laws, regulations, and best practices for the trade and their impact on LTCS and operations
- Communicate with government agencies as required and mitigate any risks or penalties as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of experience in International Trade Compliance with focus on Export Compliance preferably within the aviation sector or related required
- Government contractor experience desired
- Fluency in English language required
- Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, FTR, AES EEI in International Trade and Global Supply Chain in an MRO company, Aircraft component and parts provider, Distributor centers, and Logistics service providers required
- CES or CCS certification
- MS Office, SAP, ACE AES Direct, Descartes QW as user
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Eligible to obtain national security clearance
- Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
