Tasks
Your tasks as the Intern in Marketing may include, among others:
- Active involvement in B2C and B2B marketing activities, advertising, activations, and social media for Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines under the Marketing Manager for Lufthansa Group
- Support in coordination and managing communication between suppliers and partners for sponsored and produced marketing events
- On-site assistance for events outside of traditional 9 to 5pm hours, including travel to other areas outside of New York
- Exposure to the Americas adaptation of the global advertising strategy
- Assisting with integrated advertising planning, media selection process for traditional, and digital channels
- Compiling and producing executive summaries for reporting of all marketing activities
- All other duties as assigned or required
To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:
- Advanced students (Intermediate diploma) in business administration/marketing with strong academic performance
- 2 semesters completed in before the start of the internship
- Previous practical experience in advertising and/or marketing
- International experience preferred
- Knowledge of the advertising industry & all channels including Digital, Social Media, and Events
- Fluency in English language is required
- Ability to work independently & under pressure
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to customer service
- Excellent PC skills (MS Office)
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
