The Station Manager IAD is accountable for but not limited to:
- Ensure premium customer relationships, assign customer care ambassadors, and uphold service standards
- Oversee operational performance, implement local procedures, and ensure on-time performance
- Manage quality, safety, and provider performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs
- Handle station administration, budget planning, contract negotiations, and audits
- Ensure safety, security, and emergency response compliance, including SMS and SERP
- Lead and develop personnel, oversee training, and ensure competency standards
- Maintain communication with authorities, partners, and customers, managing complaints and reporting
- Perform other tasks and/or projects, as assigned

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree required (or 5-7 years of Ground Operations experience)
- 3-5 years of Ground Operations experience and leadership experience required
- Fluency in English required; German language is an advantage
- Knowledge of Lufthansa operator specifics, other airlines, service partners, and airport procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and airline-specific software
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, adaptability, and customer orientation
- Ability to work under pressure, manage conflict, and drive productivity
- Must have a valid U.S. work permit, valid driver’s license, and pass assessment screening
- Willingness to travel, work shifts/overtime, and handle physical demands
