What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hockey Timekeeper position at LUG Sports?
Job Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Sport Operations for all LUG Sports Leagues, the timekeeper will control the score clock and monitor the game activity.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the games and record all statistical information. This Includes but not limited to:
- Goals/Assists
- Points
- Penalties
- Saves
- Game Misconducts
- Final Score
- Control the score clock
- Play MUSIC AT ALL GAMES! (all equipment will be provided)
- Upload all stats and scores to LUG Website
Qualifications/Skills:
- Knowledge of Hockey rules
- Previous Timekeeping experience an asset (but not required)
- Experience in customer service an asset
- Data Entry and Processing skills
Arena & Game Times: Tampa Bay Skating Academy on Sunday Nights
Shifts will be 2-3 hours in length
Expected start date: February 2nd, 2025
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 3 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
