What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bread Baker position at Luigi's Ristorante & Catering?
We are looking for a Baker to prepare bread and pizza dough, as well as prepare pizzas, strombolis, subs, etc.. Responsibilities include opening the Pizza Shop early in the morning, mixing dough, preparing items for prep units. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a Baker, be able to mulit-task and stay calm under pressure. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Open the pizza shop early in the morning
- Clean kitchen equipment and tools before and after use
- Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
- Bake different bread and pizza dough
- Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
- Track food supplies and place orders, as needed
- Assist in taking and preparing customers' orders.
Skills
- Experience as a Baker, or something similar
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
- Certification from a culinary school is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
