Assistant Director of Transition to Independent Living (TIL) Services (Worcester County) -LUK seeks an energetic and innovative middle manager who shares a passion for working with and on behalf of vulnerable youth and young adults (16-24) within the context of community. The Assistant Director is essential to the successful functioning of the TIL Services Division which is focused on preventing and intervening early in the trajectory of youth and young adult homelessness, assisting young parents to increase their parenting and life skills and providing employment and leadership training.
This full-time position requires a keen knowledge of program development and management, data collection and reporting, meeting facilitation. Eligible candidates will possess effective communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, problem solving and computer skills. Coalition building or community organizing, staff supervision, grant writing and training experience highly preferred.
The position requires a flexible work schedule, including some evening and weekend hours. Master’s degree in human services, community development, public health, public administration or related field preferred. Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in the human services field acceptable. Successful candidate will have knowledge of Worcester County.
Valid license and own transportation a must.
