CONVENIENCE STORE (C-STORE) SHIFT SUPERVISOR – JOB DESCRIPTION

Shift Supervisor Responsibilities :

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising employee performance and managing tasks in a practical and objective manner during an assigned shift. The Shift Supervisor maintains a safe and secure environment for all employees by following applicable policies and procedures. The Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Convenience Store Manager.

Shift Supervisor duties will include, but are not limited to :

• Greet all customers
• Complete position based checklist
• Assist customers with needs and demonstrate concern
• Make sales transactions quickly and accurately
• Coach employees on suggestive selling techniques
• Maintain stock and inventory using available tools and resources
• Complete shift reports and account for inventory during vendor check-ins
• Treat customers and co-workers in a friendly, courteous manner
• Complete shift sheets and account for cigarette & lottery inventory
• Maintain general appearance and cleanliness of store premises
• Possess the ability to merchandise and keep records
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all customers and associates
• Lead, train, motivate, and develop team members
• Create positive store culture by treating associates fair and with respect

The Shift Supervisor is a full time position and can work up to 40 hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed

Salary / Income :

The Shift Supervisor is a non-exempt, hourly position
