Job Objective
The overall objective of this position is to provide the US Special Operations Command Joint Training and Exercises Division (J37) with Joint Training assistance services to support the planning, design, synchronization, execution, and evaluation of Special Operations Forces (SOF) exercises.
Responsibilities
The contractor seeks a Joint SOF Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the execution of exercises by executing the following essential duties:
- Conduct training via collective staff functional level seminars, Battle Staff Training (BST) events, Table-Top Exercises (TTX), Strategic Appreciation Seminars (SAS), Senior Leader Seminars (SLS), Command Post Exercises (CPX), Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MRX), Pre-Deployment Exercises (PDX) and Field Training Exercises (FTX).
- Support SOF Core Activities in functional areas that included command and control, operations, plans, intelligence, sustainment, communications, information and knowledge management, information operations, cyberspace, fires, civil affairs, medical, and interagency coordination.
- During exercise execution, provide relevant feedback and training to exercise participants.
- Provide training support to approved requirements at Global Combatant Commands (GCC), Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), Joint Special Operations Task Forces (JSOTF) and Special Operations Joint Task Forces (SOJTF) locations.
Education & Certification
- Demonstrated expert written and oral communication skills
- Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
