Job Title: Preschool Head Teacher
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Head Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and be able to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The Preschool Head Teacher will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of education for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each child
- Supervise and manage a team of preschool teachers and support staff
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Conduct regular staff meetings and professional development sessions
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and other required documentation
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations and licensing requirements
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to continuously improve the quality of education provided

Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 12 credits in ECE
- Preschool CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate) prefered
- Experience in child development minimum one year
- Experience in classroom setting minimum one year
- Experience in working with Preschool children, and parents minimum one year
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education
- Knowledge of child growth and development
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability in organizing, planning, scheduling and coordinating day-to-day activities.
- Ability to effectively manage a group of children.
- Ability to identify a child’s special needs.
- Must have a warm and supportive attitude and disposition toward working with children and their families.
- Must be flexible in receiving assignments or adapting to changes in the program.
