Compensation :

120,000 - $200,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Provide expert legal guidance and advice to clients in consultations, evaluating the strengths and challenges of their cases thoroughly.
  • Supervise and manage a caseload of litigation cases, ensuring continuous progress toward resolution and maintaining regular communication with clients.
  • Offer clear direction and oversight to support staff, including legal assistants and paralegals, to facilitate efficient task completion.
  • Create various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and paperwork, conducting thorough legal research when needed.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, showcasing a deep understanding of trial procedures and presenting cases in both Circuit and County Court.
  • Focus on achieving monthly revenue goals rather than billable hour quotas.

Qualifications :

  • The ideal candidate for the Commercial Litigation Attorney role in Vero Beach, FL, US should either be operating independently or managing a substantial caseload at a large law firm and seeking a better work-life balance.
  • Previous experience in litigation, with a preference for real estate and commercial litigation expertise, is required for this position, although not obligatory.
  • Salary will be based on experience and the candidate's book of business portability, but having a portable book of business is not a strict requirement.
  • Proficiency in handling cases throughout the entire process in both County and Circuit Court is a key necessity for this role.
  • Direct experience in client interactions, especially in a legal capacity, is highly valued.
  • Regular attendance at meetings with a Managing Attorney and Support Staff for case updates and departmental discussions is mandatory.
  • Initially, the role will be based on-site with a potential future transition to a non-negotiable hybrid work arrangement.
