Lulu Press is looking for a seasoned Growth Development Associate for our Growth Team. As our Growth Development Associate, you will be instrumental in building and executing our B2B prospecting strategy. In this dynamic position you will be qualifying leads, prospecting outbound opportunities, and own transactional closing responsibilities. Additionally you will assist in refining our prospecting frameworks, leaving your imprint on our revenue organization. This position is hybrid, in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and create strong customer relationships through rapport
  • Utilize strategic mindset to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of our evolving B2B prospecting strategy 
  • Be the driving force behind establishing best practices for our outbound sales function
  • Strategically qualify and manage inbound leads and transactional sales while proactively building outbound pipeline
  • Attend industry trade shows and events as a company representative, as needed
  • Follow up with and convert event and trade show leads
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Influence the sales process and enhance current capabilities

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in full-cycle B2B sales process, with demonstrated success in both prospecting and closing
  • Experience managing both inbound leads and outbound prospecting
  • Possess a strategic mindset, be self-motivated, and driven to achieve sales goals
  • Experience in the technology and / or media, publishing industry a plus
  • Experience building / contributing to B2B sales workflow and prospecting strategies
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel for trade shows and customer meetings, as needed
  • Proficiency with CRMs and prospecting tools to track deals and pipelines
  • Prior lead generation or sales prospecting experience and a college degree will enhance your consideration for this role
  • This position is hybrid; candidates must be local to the Triangle, NC area and able to come to office two days per week and as needed.
