What You’ll Do
As a Rehab/Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in transforming and maintaining our properties by:
- Executing Renovations: Remove and discard or salvage materials from units undergoing renovation. Tasks may include light carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
- Preparing Units: Perform make-ready tasks such as painting and carpet cleaning to prepare units for renovation.
- Assisting the Service Team: Provide support to the service team as needed.
- Preventive Maintenance: Assist in filter changes and other preventive maintenance tasks.
- Participating in On-Call Support: Be available for rotating on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications
Who You Are
You’re a skilled technician who takes pride in high-quality work. You’re a great fit for this role if you:
- Have at least 1 year of maintenance experience.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle with current insurance.
- Have your own tools to complete job tasks.
- Are proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Have training in at least six of the following areas: apartment maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, carpet repairs, refurbishing, and cleaning. An EPA refrigerant license is preferred.
Physical Requirements
This role requires physical stamina and dexterity, including the ability to:
- Kneel, stoop, and dig for minor trenching; sweep for 1–2 hours.
- Reach overhead with 30 lbs. and pull out appliances from the wall.
- Navigate stairs with an appliance dolly carrying up to 120 lbs.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Climb ladders up to three stories and handle heights up to 40 feet.
- Perform roof and window repairs, clean gutters, and test pool chemicals.
- Lift 50 lbs., bend, and manipulate small tools and appliance/electrical parts.
- Possess full color vision for tasks requiring precision.
