Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Job Description

This position will play a pivotal role in supporting LUMA executives and the Regulatory Team on regulatory matters affecting the energy transmission and distribution system (T&D System) in Puerto Rico. Key responsibilities include providing support to the Regulatory group regarding regulatory policies and procedures applicable to the operation of the T&D System, developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance library following applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and reviewing legislation and regulation that has an impact on LUMA's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides support to the Regulatory group regarding regulatory policies and procedures.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive compliance library following applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews legislation and regulation that has an impact on LUMA's operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Economics, Statistics and/or related field.
• 2 years of experience analyzing federal and local administrative law and regulation preferably in the context of highly regulated subject matters with prior experience providing written and verbal actionable advice while considering regulatory risk and compliance.
• Understanding of Puerto Rico energy laws and regulations.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
