What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President, Client Strategy position at Lumanity?
The VP, Client Strategy must demonstrate leadership in the Client Strategic Services Department through the successful management of their assigned personnel and accounts with a focus on the training and supervision of direct reports and the successful execution of client projects that meet Lumanity’s standards and client expectations. This role will assist with managing the Client Strategic Services department including resourcing, recruiting, implementing and training of standard operating procedures for account services. As VP of Client Strategu, you are expected to oversee their assigned accounts, build relationships with clients, while encouraging organic business development opportunities.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Provide exceptional client service, consistent with Lumanity account service standards.
- Overall responsibility for facilitating the movement, tracking, and delegation of assigned projects on a proactive basis
- Overall responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of financial deliverables (i.e. budgets, invoices, etc.)
- Overall responsibility and oversight of team maintaining accurate records within client chosen technology programs (i.e. Datavision, PubSTRAT, Veeva)
- Overall accountability and leadership across account(s)
- Seek to identify new areas to expand organic growth
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years of project and/or account/project management experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare communications industries
- Demonstrate intermediate understanding of the clinical development process and how this can be impacted by strategic communication planning
- Ability to work in fast-paced, quickly changing environment
- Excellent financial acumen
- Excellent project management skills, including organization, prioritization and delegation skills
- Flexible, deadline oriented, and ability to work as part of a multifunctional team
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries; network of business contacts within the industry
- Demonstrates leadership ability within team setting, motivating others and contributing to their growth
- Experience in both medical and marketing communications preferred
