Marketing and Events Coordinator
The ideal candidate will present a friendly and accommodating atmosphere, helping customers determine their needs and facilitate their request efficiently and accurately. A professional appearance is expected, with adherence to the guidelines outlined in the employee handbook.
Main Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive company image through marketing and events both internally and externally.
- Manage and report on marketing & event budgets along with vendor co-op funds, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Coordinate advertising campaigns across print, TV, and online media channels.
- Develop and maintain all promotional items for customers, staff, and events.
- Create, manage, and utilize various marketing channels to generate sales traffic and attendance for customers, corporation, and customer/staff events.
Additional Tasks:
- Responsible for all marketing collateral within the company, including company catalogs, brochures, flyers, statement stuffers, signage, business cards, etc.
- Raise awareness about company education initiatives, such as Contractor Seminar series throughout the year.
- Stay updated on code and compliance requirements for the customer base.
- Staying in tune with new or growing marketing/advertising trends, styles, techniques, and technologies.
- Comfortable presenting campaigns, programs, public speaking at events, and communicating effectively with team members and management.
- Maintain records of planned events and marketing campaigns, and ensure that all marketing and events align with the company's brand image, mission/vision statements, and messaging.
- Support the President with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Excellent writing/editing, verbal communication, and time-management skills.
- Organized, innovative, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and work independently; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and open to learning new skills.
- Effective and transparent team member, with strong problem-solving and planning skills.
