POSITION SUMMARY
Located at our Byron Center, MI location, the person in this position would be responsible for the painting/staining of exterior doors in our state-of-the-art finishing system. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the proper quality, accuracy, and timeliness of painting of all doors and component parts
- Working with all teams of finish department to ensure the highest quality finished product
- Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of assigned work area
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the Finish Supervisor

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma/GED required
- Prior painting/staining experience (preferably in doors or comparable field)
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Safe working practices
- Natural detail-orientation
- Ability to accurately read orders and stage material to internal customer needs
- Desire to "do things right the first time"
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 75 lb
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
