HOURS : First Shift
POSITION SUMMARY
Located at our Byron Center, MI location, this position has the responsibility of performing and documenting timely in-process inspections on completed orders. They will support Operations by providing directions for quality and standard work procedures. This person will also be responsible for increasing company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels through the management of inventory controls. This will be done by reviewing cycle count performance and investigating inventory discrepancies to ensure that optimal inventory is present and ready for use. Specific day-to-day responsibilities include :
Distribution :
- Develop and maintain relationships with warehouse teams and Customer Service
- Proactively communicating with the customer service and warehouse teams
- Maintain an organized, clean and efficient environment
- Develop, document and train the company on proper packaging standards
- Supporting the mission of great on-time customer service by being responsible for accuracy of outgoing finished product shipments for the Building Materials Division.
- Ensure all outgoing products meet customer packaging requirements (i.e. skid sizes, quantities, PO information, weight, etc.) and support quick resolution of outages
- Verifying all quantities and skid sizes on outgoing orders
- Assisting with other administrative demands
