What are the responsibilities and job description for the AUDIOLOGIST TECHNICIAN position at Lumberton?
**SEEKING AN AUDIOLOGIST TECHNICIAN**
We are actively seeking a skilled Audiologist Technician with specialized experience in performing comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations for patients of all ages. Your testing responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Pure tone air and bone conduction tests
- Speech audiometry
- Tympanometry
- Otoacoustic emission testing
- Evaluation of the external auditory canal
All services must be delivered under the direct and onsite supervision of the ordering physician.
In addition to testing, you will be responsible for key clerical and scheduling tasks, including:
1. Maintaining office and testing equipment
2. Scheduling patient appointments efficiently
3. Reviewing and rescheduling appointments on the Audiologist’s and/or Physician’s schedules to ensure streamlined clinic operations
4. Cleaning multi-patient use audiological supplies and devices
5. Daily disinfection of testing booths, chairs, transducers, etc.
6. Ordering necessary audiological supplies for test rooms
7. Monitoring voicemail on a daily basis
You will document clinical activities by entering procedure codes and test results into the referring physician's office notes and the patient chart for review. Additionally, you will update and transfer demographic and audiological data into our audiology-based software.
Your role will also include providing vital assistance to doctors, nurses, physician assistants, and other staff members, and effectively triaging patients for the provider. We are looking for a proactive individual who can contribute to our team and enhance our patient care services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
