Regional Operations Manager (Hospitality)

We are seeking a full-time Regional Operations Manager to join our corporate hospitality leadership team. This senior-level role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of hotels, driving operational performance, financial success, and guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hotel operations, a deep understanding of Marriott and/or Hilton brand standards, and a passion for leadership. This is a remote position with frequent travel, and candidates must be based in or near Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple hotels, ensuring they operate efficiently within budget and align with brand and company standards
- Collaborate with hotel General Managers to establish, execute, and monitor strategic goals
- Conduct regular property visits and audits to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistency across all locations
- Lead hotel task force initiatives for new property openings, turnarounds, or special projects
Financial & Performance Management
- Analyze financial performance, P&L reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive revenue growth and cost control
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for assigned properties
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability through cost management and revenue-enhancing strategies
- Work with ownership groups and corporate leadership to align business objectives with financial goals
Guest Experience & Brand Compliance
- Ensure all properties maintain brand compliance with Marriott, Hilton, or both
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores (GSS) and online reputation metrics, developing action plans for continuous improvement
- Implement and oversee quality assurance programs to enhance the overall guest experience
- Train and mentor property leadership on hospitality best practices and service excellence
Team Development & Leadership
- Provide hands-on mentorship and coaching to General Managers and their teams
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Oversee talent development and succession planning, ensuring the right leadership is in place at each property
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of key personnel
Vendor & Asset Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage vendor partnerships for hotel operations and maintenance
- Monitor ongoing capital projects, renovations, and property improvements
- Ensure all properties meet or exceed health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager (Hilton or Marriott preferred)
- Minimum 2 years in a regional or district-level leadership role
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other hotel management software
- Extensive experience with Marriott and/or Hilton brand standards
- Proven track record of hotel P&L management, revenue growth, and operational success
- Experience with hotel task force initiatives, property turnarounds, and brand conversions
- Bachelor’s degree (concentration in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred)
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and implement strategic business decisions
- Highly organized, independent, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel frequently Must be located in or near Atlanta, GA
