You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and operations, to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our systems.LocationThis role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.The Main ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.Analyze and optimize system performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization and network performance.Conduct code reviews and establish quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of code quality.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending tools and technologies that can enhance our software architecture.Create and maintain architectural documentation, including design specifications, architectural diagrams, and technical standards.What We Look For in a CandidateRequired Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.7 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and network architecture or cloud deploymentsProficiency in Java, Redis, Lucene Indices, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs and Network ConnectivityCloud Implementations – particularly Azure and AWS.Experience with network protocols (TCP / IP, Traps, etc.) and distributed systems.Proven experience leading technical teams and projects. Able to coach younger / less experienced developers as well as create a good working relationship with offshore developersPreferred Qualifications : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.CompensationThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
