The Role
Partner in a team environment and be able to independently design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for explaining solutions and procedures. Apply principles, theories and concepts and use methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects related to moderately complex software.
You must be a US Citizen or permanent resident for consideration on this position.

This is a Work From Home position available from any US-based location.
The Main Responsibilities
Implements computer programs for the purpose of enhancing and updating the computer system
Tasks may include designing and coding programs and testing and documenting changes and enhancements
Write testable and scalable code for programs
Analyzes programming requests for the purpose of assisting integration with current applications
Tasks may include project implementation, researching and evaluating problems, and recommending and implementing decisions
Conducts training for the purpose of providing technical expertise to end users
Tasks may include training for System Operator / Programmer, providing user activity education, and one-on-one support
Estimates timeline for assigned projects and ensures that work is completed with the estimate given
What We Look For in a Candidate
Development experience in Optical DWDM Transport
Experience cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, Google)
Proficient in Java, RestAPI, API management, MySQL, Python, GIT Hub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and working within hosted environments
6 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree / 4 years with a Master's Degree
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
