What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeping Associate position at Lumen Nature Retreat?
Hello There!
We are Lumen Nature Retreat, a year-round glamping hotel destination located in North Woodstock, NH in the heart of the White Mountains and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Associate.
Compensation: $20 / hour plus tips and performance bonuses.
it’s a year-round position.
Flexible scheduling is available - Shifts are usually 4-5 days per week at 6-8 hours/day.
Location: The position is in North Woodstock, NH.
**Positions available to start by April 2025**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
== Units Cleaning ==
- Clean and prepare the units after every guest check-out to make sure they are ready for our upcoming guests, ensuring a 5-star guest experience in cleanliness
- Clear out/clean firepits after every check-out.
- Dust/clean external furniture on the sites after every check-out.
- Remove trash from individual campsites and dispose of it in the central location.
- Report maintenance issues and help to fix them when it is possible.
- Report damages made by guests.
- Assist with laundry when needed.
- Support the laundry operations as needed.
- Perform daily quality control checks on finished units.
== Common Areas Cleaning ==
- Clean the shared bathhouse.
- Replenish bathhouse supplies to make sure they are always available for guests.
- Empty all trash cans several times a day.
- Perform monthly deep cleans following our cleaning checklists.
- Report maintenance issues making sure everything operates correctly during all times.
- Clean the common saunas in the property.
== Supplies & Inventory ==
- Keep the supplies storage/shelves area as organized as possible, maintaining the proper labeling system for storing the supplies.
- Submit inventory requests to restock supplies and make sure we don’t run out of them.
==Requirements==
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Prior housekeeping experience.
- Availability for our shifts which are usually 5-8 hours/day with 4-5 days per week

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
