Position Title:- Developer Java/Web – Senior

Skill Set:-

• Analysis and Design Support:
• Participate in client discussions to support technical analysis on business requirements and priorities.
• Perform the analysis, design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of large/complex IT solutions projects related to passenger rail transportation systems
• Conduct detailed business analysis to architect & design IT solutions that meet functional and technical requirements.
• Application Development:
• Design, develop, test, and implement business-critical, cloud-native, enterprise-level services focusing on high availability and high performance.
• Develop and integrate Kafka streams for real-time data processing.
• Develop event-driven backend services for EDI transactions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate in a SAFe Agile team to meet business and technical requirements
• Production and Testing Support:
• Provide ongoing support, perform problem analysis and resolution.
• Employ Test Driven Development methodologies to create use-case scenarios and unit test cases.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:
• Expertise with Kafka for real-time event streaming (topics, producers, consumers)
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions
• Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Maven
• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CodePipeline, CDK and CloudFormation
• Testing and Methodology:
• Solid experience with Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development, using tools such as Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Cypress.
• Understanding of the Twelve-Factor Application Methodology.
• Cloud and Security:
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native design, development, and delivery using AWS technologies like EventBridge, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora, Cloudwatch.
• Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinker with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues.
• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and 7 years of relevant work experience.
  
  

Preferred:

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.
• Experience with Angular for front-end development.
• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of AWS CDK and infrastructure as code.
