Job Description:
This role requires a strong background in sourcing professional consulting services and IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public and federal procurement, particularly under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of sourcing experience, specifically in professional services and IT procurements.
- Proven experience in renewing IT solutions and services is a must.
- Strong proficiency in SAP Ariba preferred.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and MS Office tools is essential.
- FAR experience is highly preferred; any background in public or federal procurement is beneficial.
- Excellent multitasking abilities with a strong customer focus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing efforts for IT solutions and professional services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and work collaboratively with vendor partners to achieve optimal procurement outcomes.
- Utilize SAP Ariba for procurement processes and maintain effective sourcing strategies.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Develop and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate procurement activities and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities in SharePoint and MS Office solutions.
- Monitor contract performance and manage service provider relationships to ensure quality delivery.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
