The Role

We are seeking a leader who will drive the operational excellence of our Acceleration and Growth (AGT) organization's transformation. Reporting directly to our SVP, Revenue Enablement and Operations, this role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, aligning organizational priorities, and ensuring the seamless execution of transformative projects. The Senior Director of Transformation will be a key player in shaping the future of our organization, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and steering towards the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a proven ability to navigate complexity, balance competing priorities, and drive operational rigor in a dynamic environment.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Orchestrating, prioritizing, sequencing, and overseeing AGT's transformation efforts as part of the broader Lumen Transformation Office (LTO) charter.
  • Leveraging robust business acumen and operational rigor to optimize resource utilization and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Leading in the planning, execution, and oversight of AGT's transformational projects.
  • Ensuring successful delivery through meticulous program management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement practices.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

  • Extensive experience in a strategic role within operations, program management, or business operations for a large, complex organization.
  • Strong background in business process engineering and designing commercial excellence programs.
  • Exceptional communication and change management skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to represent a group in corporate-level strategic initiatives, driving alignment and measurable results.
  • Experience working at the intersection of business and technology.
  • Proven track record of partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams to develop and operationalize revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Familiarity with financial tools and enterprise software like Salesforce or SAP.
  • Knowledge of operational frameworks such as OKRs, Agile methodologies, or Lean practices.
  • Experience in a revenue-focused role within a commercial organization.
  • Understanding of validated design processes or revenue strategies in commercial or SaaS environments.
  • Knowledge of business models, sales enablement strategies, or pricing optimization practices.

  • Compensation

    This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

    Location Based Pay Ranges :

  • 171,447.00 - $228,596.00 in states : AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY.
  • 180,020.00 - $240,026.00 in states : CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI.
  • 188,592.00 - $251,456.00 in states : AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA.
