Job Summary:
As a Lumen Network Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of cable repair and maintenance both copper and fiber splicing, carrier systems repair and maintenance will be a feature of this position, also including but not limited to installation and repairs on POTS and DSL services, buried section repairs (dig and fix), rehab and corrective action on irregular plant conditions in all aerial, buried and underground plant plus all installation aspects to include, but is not limited of GPON, DSL, bonded DSL and POTS services.
Consideration will be given to individuals with field experience and basic telecom, electrical, low voltage, or HVAC skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain/repair and test residential/small business telecommunication service and broadband products such as: POTS, HSI, Networking, VDSL, Fiber to the Home.
- Enable the wireless/wired network on company-approved modems/routers.
- Connect wires and cables to terminals and attach/detach various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, buildings, poles and inside facility.
- This includes cabling various electronic components (e.g., routers, computers, etc.).
- Perform continuity and/or conformance testing.
- Use test equipment (e.g., 965DPS, T-Berd, OTDR) and/or coordinate testing of customer lines with the assistance of test center or other designated employees.
Work Environment:
Must work varying shifts and hours including possible mandatory overtime, weekends and holidays.
May require compliance with State and Federal Department of Transportation Drive Qualification Regulations, including drug and alcohol testing.
May require a CDL.
When working aloft with ladders or other equipment with weight-capacity ratings, employees must adhere to the Company safety policy and equipment weight requirements.
May perform job activities outdoors in different weather conditions.
Minimum Hourly Wage $15.Maximum Hourly Wage $39.This position is part of a bargaining unit and represented by a union.
