About the Role As a Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) at Lumenalta, you will be key in driving operational efficiency, governance, and compliance within engineering and supply chain teams. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can effectively challenge teams to update statuses, manage change requests, and streamline workflows within Teams Center. You will be at the intersection of engineering, compliance, and executive leadership, ensuring smooth collaboration across functions.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive updates, governance tickets, and tasks within Teams Center to ensure engineering and manufacturing changes are tracked effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, supply chain teams, and C-level leadership to optimize workflows and decision-making.
- Push for accountability by ensuring timely updates on status changes, compliance requirements, and governance protocols.
- Analyze and refine BOM structures, identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices to streamline change processes.
- Integrated NetSuite with PLM tools, ensuring seamless data flow and operational alignment between ERP and engineering teams.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement risk and design management best practices to accelerate change request timelines—currently taking 2-3 weeks.
- Lead discussions on best practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) within PLM.
- Act as a force multiplier, ensuring structured, clear, and actionable communication between engineering and executive teams.
- Deliver milestone-based outcomes, with services and payments tied to predefined success metrics.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in PLM or product management with hands-on work in Teams Center.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to push teams for updates and compliance.
- Strong background in engineering processes, change management, and governance within a manufacturing or hardware environment.
- Experience integrating PLM tools with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Process optimization mindset, able to identify inefficiencies and drive impactful change.
- Ability to work onsite in Mountain View, interacting daily with executives, engineers, and supply chain teams.
- Experience with supply chain operations, risk management, and compliance is a plus.

Salary range: $84,000 - $144,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
