Responsibilities
- Own high-quality delivery of patent analysis and IP monetization research, including but not limited to, technology due diligence, market research, target scouting, infringement analysis, digital forensics
- Design test benches and reverse engineer various functionalities using industry standard tools and/or custom built tools
- Lead team of associate and senior associate consultants in client projects
- Be a go-to expert for technical matters at Lumenci
- Establish and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients and be an evangelist for Lumenci services and products
- Identify and develop relationships with a network of labs for Lumenci's product testing and Reverse Engineering services
- Work with product teams to advise in the development & testing of Lumenci's technology platforms
- Showcase technology and IP thought leadership via blogs and research reports
- Collaborate across the organization in-person and with virtual, global teams
- Travel as needed for internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, source code reviews, depositions, trials etc.
- BE/ME/BTech/MTech in Electrical or Electronics or related technical field. Master’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor product development including at least one of semiconductor fabrication process, chip packaging, advanced packaging. Antenna in package, circuits, die floorplan, circuit layouts, etc. OR in semiconductor IP services.
- Candidate should have worked in technologies including including processors, microcontrollers, RF devices, mobile devices, memory devices, image sensors, automotive, power devices, etc.
- Candidate should be self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.
- Candidate will be preferred if they have hands on experience on claim charts (infringement analysis, product EoUs), patent portfolio analysis, annuity analysis, patentability searches etc.
- Candidate will be preferred if they have good knowledge of reverse engineering analysis techniques such as product teardowns, spectroscopy analysis, material characterizations, circuit extraction, circuit layouts, functional testing, etc.
- Expertise in Semiconductor packaging
- Expertise in semiconductor process and fabrication
- Expertise in designing any high-speed IO and SERDES architecture
- Experience in analog circuits including power management circuits such as converters, regulators; clock generators such as Crystal Oscillator, RC Oscillator, PLL, clock buffers and dividers, etc.
- Have good knowledge on The JEDEC memory specifications for semiconductor memory circuits and similar storage devices.
- Do you have any PCB or card or module layout experience? What layout tools have you use if any? (Example: Cadence, Mentor Graphics, OrCAD
- Any Previous work experience with CMOS image sensors
