Position Title: Process Technician (laser or post-process)
Job Description:
Perform setup and production operations for prototype and manufacturing builds.
Laser and equipment emphasis
- Process setup
- Maintenance
- Monitoring for quality during processing
- In-process inspection and troubleshooting
- Process improvement contributions
- Cross-training in QA (all production technicians perform QA/QC inspector duties – at least occasionally, often regularly)
- Cross-training in post-processing
or
Post-processing emphasis
- Precision chemical cleaning
- Electrochemical processes including electropolishing
- Mechanical processing including abrasive blasting
- Forming
- Heat-treatment
- Cross-training in QA (all production technicians perform QA/QC inspector duties – at least occasionally, often regularly)
- Cross-training in laser/equipment processes
Follow engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure product specifications and tolerances are met. Perform a variety of tasks.
Works on assignments requiring a sharp observation and communication with others. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Contribute to methods and procedures on new assignments.
As a skilled specialist, identifies effective ways to improve the process activities.
Carries out tasks ranging from simple to more complex tasks which require applying theory to practical situations.
Works on assignments requiring judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Contribute to methods and procedures on new assignments.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 19 – 21 per week
