We are partnered with an exciting startup that is creating innovative DSP technology for the optical communications industry.
They are looking to bring on an experienced Optical DSP Chief Architect, who will be responsible for defining system architecture and optimizing performance to develop next-generation optical transceivers and communication chips.
Role : Optical DSP Chief Architect
Location : Austin, TX
Compensation Package : Competitive base equity options
The skills needed for the Optical DSP Chief Architect position include :
- Extensive experience with DSP technology and communication theory.
- Experienced defining system architectures for optical DSP chips.
- Strong understanding of optical modulation techniques and coherent optical transmission.
- Hands-on experience with Python, C, C , or MATLAB for algorithm development.
- Experienced with high-speed SerDes, ADC / DAC, mixed-signal designs.
- Ability to lead on system-level modelling and simulations to validate DSP algorithms.
- Familiarity with ASIC design.
- Confident working with cross-functional, global teams.
- Leadership skills would be advantageous in this position.
