I'm currently searching for a Polymer Engineer to join a semiconductor materials manufacturing site in Hayward, California. In this role, you'll be leading the development of elastomeric and adhesive materials ensuring alignment with industry and customer needs by providing expertise in Research & Development and manufacturing efforts.
Job Duties :
- Lead the development and commercialization of innovative polymer and elastomeric materials, aligning with industry trends and customer needs.
- Prepare and present technical presentations at industry conferences and customer meetings.
- Offer ongoing support for the development of new materials, formulations, and processes throughout their lifecycle.
- Perform root cause and failure analysis for both existing and new products during their development stages.
- Provide expert chemistry insights for R&D efforts, addressing inquiries from Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Define and communicate project timelines, prioritize action items, and assess resource requirements to management and customers.
